Kollao
Community Building Platform
Problem
Commissioned by Pearland West Church of Christ to solve a real operational gap — churches lose visitors every week not because they don't care, but because follow-up falls through the cracks. Their existing tool, Gloo, collects visitor data through QR forms but locks it behind proprietary exports, forcing a weekly CSV download with no system on the other end. By Monday the secretary has a file, no workflow, and no way to assign outreach or track contact. Without a structured pipeline, first-time visitors become forgotten names in a spreadsheet.
Approach
Kollao is built around one idea. Every visitor has a next step. Instead of a bloated church management system with financial tools, attendance tracking, and demographic dashboards nobody uses, Kollao focuses entirely on the human pipeline — from first visit to belonging. The goal is outreach, not administration.
Solution
Kollao is a community building platform for churches. Import visitor data from existing tools, assign outreach to elders and staff with one tap, and track every contact attempt in one place. When a visitor responds, a follow-up form captures richer information directly into their record. When they commit, they convert to a full member profile. One system. One source of truth. Nothing falls through the cracks.
Key Ideas
- 01Outreach over administration - built for connection, not compliance
- 02Zero brain power design - the secretary never wonders what to do next
- 03Automated pipeline - visitor follow-up triggered without manual intervention
- 04Community first - visitor and member management for outreach, nothing else
